Shakayamuni homestay in kalimpong is established in the year 2019 and is a perfect getaway for all class of travellers and tourists.
It is located in the midst of the most scenic place in Kalimpong called Deolo hill which is known for its breath taking panoramic views. This is a perfect getaway from the madening crowd and indulge yourself into a perfect relaxation , peace and enjoyment.

KAlimpong

Had visited Kalimpong in Feb 2021. For me travelling is more of exploring places, people and food locally. Through one of the agents I know, got to know about this homestay. Was impressed when I checked in. Homely environment and the rooms were classy. Had take the one with balcony from where I could see the sunrise. Had planned to stay for 2 days but ended up staying here for 2 weeks (exactly 16 days). That was the hospitality they provided. The location is so apt. Its opposite to the Gumpha and from there, we an see Kanjanjunga clearly if weather allows. I do not like crowded place. Since I was working as well, it was the apt place for me. Could not have asked for a better stay at the price provided to us, could not have asked for better food and hospitality and hosts.

It was one of the best experience I ever had. It was like staying at my own place. Stayed for a fortnight (couldn’t extend more 😔) Santosh was not the owner of the place. He was like a brother. He took us out for dinner. I know it sounds crazy. But this is exactly what he did. His wife sister and best friend ,all made us feel we are a part of their family. Dying to do back there.
